Home Bound

11JUN

As all good things come to an end, the girls and I rushed to get our luggage packed and ready to go this morning to catch our flight from Cheju Island to Seoul where we will connect for our Vancouver flight where we will connect once more to Calgary. It was a great trip with memorable experiences and a definite culture shock. We will miss Estella dearly and we cannot express how thankful we are for having you by us for help and support our Seoul. This trip was incredible and definitely made us three closer as lifelong friends.

How much shopping did you guys do when you were there? Did you have to pick up an extra suit case to bring it all home?

South Korea has not only cute teddy bears and small charm trinkets to bring home, they also have a very cute and inexpensive selection of fashion that is quite different from usual american fashion. They are one of the leading fashionistas in Asia similar to the prestige of other shopping cities like Paris, Milan and New York.

You could buy accessories, to clothes and shoes. As well as traditional artifacts, clothing and trinkets. There is quite a bit of 'black market' business in Seoul but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do =D

Oh, and yes, we did end up using our packed duffel bag as our extra check-in luggage. For the price of an extra luggage, it was well worth it for the souvenirs we brought back home.
